SANCTIONING
The meet is open to all schools in NYS (including NYC PSAL, and NY CHSAA), Connecticut, Maine, Massachussets, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. All necessary sanctions have been applied for. ________________________________________________________________

RULES
National Federation of State High Schools Association (NFHS) rules apply. NY State jewelry rule applies; only WATCHES are permitted to be worn during competition. ________________________________________________________________

ENTRIES (Please note new email address to use)
This year we will be using email for all entries.
We will not accept any hard copies or paper entries.
Entry is a simple 2-step process.
STEP 1. Submit your roster in a Word document, Excel spreadsheet, or in the body of an email to: NYtrackoffical@verizon.net
1. Put 5th BPXCC in the subject box
2. Separate the boys and girls rosters
3. Put your roster information in this order: First Name, Last Name, Grade, and Gender.
STEP 2. After you have entered your athletes by emailing your roster to NYtrackofficial@verizon.net, print and complete the official payment form (last page of information packet), enclose it with your payment or voucher payable to DCTOCA and send it to:

ENTRY FEES
Each Varsity Team: $40.00 only one boys and one girls varsity team per school
Each JV Team*: $40.00 unlimited teams allowed (maximum of 7 runners per team)
School Saver: $140.00 4 teams: 1 Varsity boys, 1 Varsity girls, 1 JV boys and 1 JV girls teams, maximum 7 runners per team (28 total athletes)
*JV only: you may enter up to 4 additional runners per each JV team beyond the 7 runner maximum at an added fee of $5 per each runner entered. (for example: 8 runners=$45; 9 runners=$50; 10 runners=$55; 11 runners=$60)
Each additional 7-runner JV team cost $40 per team;
once an additional JV team is submitted, you have incurred the $40/team additional fee.
The MAXIMUM entry per school is $250.00.

AWARDS
Individual awards will be given to the first 25 runners in each race.
Plaques will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each Varsity race.
Tee shirts will be awarded to the 7 members of the winning team in each Varsity race.
Plaques will be awarded to the top 2 teams in each JV race. _________________________________________________________________

EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
EMS will be available for medical emergencies only; a trainer will NOT be available.

SPECTATORS
Spectators will not be allowed on the course.
The course runs through the park entirely on grass or trails.
There are many spots where the runners can be easily viewed on the course as well as at the finish line.

PARKING
Only team buses and officials will be allowed to drive down to the parking lot at the bottom of the hill by the start and finish areas.
Spectator parking will be restricted to the area at the top of the hill near the park entrance. It is at least a 10 minute brisk walk to the start and finish area at the bottom of the hill from the park entrance. Please allow ample time to get to where you want to watch the races from. There are no shuttles available. The current race schedule is listed on either of the race pages. This schedule is subject to change based on entries. The race assignments will be posted on/by September 19, 2011. Please check back to see when your team will be running and schedule your arrival accordingly.
There will be a handicapped parking area available at the bottom of the hill by the finish area.___________________________________________________________________
